  1. Placing an Order

1.1 Browse through the site and select those products that you wish to purchase by selecting the quantity of each item you require and selecting the ‘Add to cart’ button. Once your selection has been completed proceed to the checkout by first navigating to the shopping cart (accessible when adding products to your cart or from the top right hand side of the site) and then selecting checkout. Then follow the onscreen prompts to confirm you address, delivery options and so forth.

1.2 In order to place an order on this website you will be required to create an account, this can be a temporary account or one you would like to continue to use on this website.

1.2.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to be held responsible for all activities that occur on your account and shall take all necessary steps to ensure that your password remains confidential at all times. If you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else or that you account is being used by an unauthorised person you will inform us immediately.

2.2 The product ingredients and nutritional analyses listed on this website are either by us for our own products or by the manufacturers. Please verify any information yourself by direct correspondence with the relevant manufacturer.

2.3.1 In the event of an error or omission of content on the website, Robinwood Mill reserves the right to amend or cancel any order to resolve the issue as it sees best.
2.3.2 In the event a customer becomes aware of an error or omission they will contact Robinwood Mill immediately to inform us of the error/omission.

3.1 From time to time we may offer competitions, offers or vouchers to be used in conjunctions with this website and in store. Each promotion will be subject to its own terms, however each offer will be subject to availability at all times.
3.1.1 Only one promotional voucher may be redeemed per purchase, for example it is not possible to use multiple vouchers.
3.2 Where a promotion has entitled you to a discount on the purchase price of any item, any refund or return will be based on that discounted price.
3.3 We reserve the right to limit the scale and extent of promotions at any time, particularly where it is believed a promotion is being abused by a customer.
3.4 The Trade (other feed merchants and suppliers) is restricted from taking part in any promotion without prior written permission.

3.5 Only one voucher will be issued per delivery address.

3.6 Robinwood Mill reserves the right to terminate any promotion at any time.

3.7 All promotions are subject to availability.

  1. Delivery

7.1.1 Orders over x bags, placed before x pm will be dispatched the same working day.  Orders x or fewer bags, placed before noon, will be dispatched same working day.  Orders are only delivered on working days, i.e. week days excluding bank holidays.

7.1.2 Orders are delivered by a variety of carefully selected pallet and parcel networks. Large deliveries will arrive on a heavy goods vehicle and can be equipped with tail lift and manual pallet trolley. Orders where possible are unloaded to ground level and are able to be wheeled short distances over good ground to the desired destination.

7.1.3 If your delivery address may be subject to access restrictions (narrow lanes, etc) please indicate that you require your delivery in a 7.5 tonne vehicle on the delivery page of the checkout process. If your property is not suitable for access by a 7.5 tonne vehicle we are able to arrange for smaller orders to be delivered by van although this service is expensive and can be limited. In exceptionally busy periods a shortage of 7.5 tonne vehicles may result in your delivery being delayed

7.1.4 All orders are wrapped in plastic and so are splash proof, however they are not suitable for outside storage or prolonged exposure to the wet.

7.1.5 Not all delivery methods are available to all the parts of the country

7.2 Standard Delivery

7.2.1 Standard delivery operates on a 3rd working day basis. An order placed before 3pm on working day 1 will be delivered on working day 3.

7.2.2 Our delivery partners will try call the day before a delivery is due to take place to confirm that there will be someone available to sign for the delivery and to give a rough indication of the delivery time.

7.2.3 Our delivery partners are obligated to supply you with a two-hour period in which they will make the delivery, if asked, when they call to book the delivery in.

7.2.4 Please ensure that the contact numbers provided are manned as our delivery partners will not attempt the delivery until they have spoken with the customer to ensure that there is someone available to sign for the delivery.

7.3 Next Day Delivery

7.3.1 Next day delivery operates on a 2nd working day basis. An order placed before 3pm on working day 1 will be delivered on working day 2.

7.3.2 Our delivery partners will not call ahead for next day deliveries so please ensure that there will be someone available to sign for the delivery.

7.4 Timed Delivery

7.4.1 Timed delivery gives you the customer the option on specifying on what day and at what time you would like your delivery to be made.

7.4.2 Timed deliveries are only available for working day 3 and 4 where the order is placed on working day 1 and are available in half hour increments between 9am and 5pm.

7.4.3 Timed deliveries are guaranteed for the time you specify, where the delivery is made more than 30 minutes after the requested time, the delivery fee will be refunded.

7.5 Failed Deliveries

7.5.1 Where deliveries are attempted but the delivery is unable to be completed due to the absence of someone able to sign for the goods we reserve the right to charge a £15 redelivery charge.

7.6 Unsigned Deliveries

7.6.1 We strongly recommend customers not to ask us to leave the order without obtaining a signature. However where the customer instructs us in writing in the delivery note field to leave the delivery without obtaining a signature we are not able to accept any claims that may arise from goods arriving damaged or being left at an incorrect location.

  1. Returns

8.1If you find the goods unsuitable or you are not totally satisfied, providing you notify us within 14 days from receipt of the goods and return to us unsoiled, unused and in the original packaging you will be entitled to an exchange or return.

8.2 You will be required to arrange and pay for the return shipping to our warehouse. Please get in touch if such a case occurs and we can advise you of the most cost effective means of return.
